Description

The Lego 12-volt electric motor requires a compatible transformer (12V DC). Lego offers a dedicated transformer (item no. 740/220V or 742/110V) featuring stepless speed control and a forward/reverse switch. With simple one-button operation, its double-insulated housing ensures safety from electric shock. An indicator light shows when the transformer is active. It includes multiple electrical connections and is designed to power all electrical Lego components, such as light bricks and switches. Note: it cannot be used to operate the 4.5-volt battery train.
